Ray O'Brien

Ray O'Brien is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as the Cyber Security OT/ICS Lead Engineer at ESB since September 2019, where responsibilities encompass security monitoring, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and security operations service delivery. With a background that includes roles as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst and Cyber Security Analyst at O'Brien Associates (OBAKK) since 2007, Ray has extensive experience in threat detection engineering, security testing, and stakeholder management. Previous positions include Information Security Engineer and Networks and Server Administrator at Alexandra College, where Ray coordinated Ireland's first Apple Computers One-to-One Laptop scheme, and a role in digitisation for the animated film "The Secret of Kells" at Cartoon Saloon.
