Senior Campaigns Director at Electrification Coalition

Aaron Viles is currently the Director of Campaigns at Electrification Coalition, working towards expanding electric vehicle use to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and our reliance on oil through state level policy initiatives. In addition, Aaron holds the position of Chair at Healthy Gulf (formerly Gulf Restoration Network). With a background in various environmental and advocacy organizations, Aaron has served in roles such as Field Organizer at Amy McGrath for Congress, Manager of Organizing at Care2, and Deputy Director/Director of Special Projects at Faithful America, among others. Aaron's extensive experience also includes being the Wild Forests Campaign Coordinator, Gulf States Field Organizer, and Gulf States Field Director at U.S. PIRG.

Electrification Coalition

The Electrification Coalition is a non-partisan, not-for-profit group committed to promoting policies and actions that facilitate the deployment of plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) on a mass scale in order to combat the economic, public health, and national security dangers caused by America’s dependence on oil. The EC works with a variety of stakeholders that represent the entire electrified transportation value chain, positioning the organization as a dedicated rallying point for an array of electrification allies.
