Mallory Nugent

Mallory Nugent serves as the Senior Director of Advocacy Campaigns at Everytown for Gun Safety, where experience includes leadership roles such as Regional Director of State Affairs and State Legislative Manager. Previously, Mallory held multiple positions at the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, including Senior Policy Analyst, where successful advocacy led to the passage of significant legislation and the development of impactful campaigns like Restore Opportunity Now. Mallory's expertise encompasses coalition building, public speaking, and strategic advocacy, with a strong background in policy analysis gained through work in various capacities, including legislating reforms in human services and child welfare. Mallory also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Fordham University, teaching social policy advocacy. Mallory holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University.
