Tyler Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Tyler began their career at HealthPartners in 2013 as a Sustainability Intern. Later in 2013, they also interned with HealthPartners again, further developing their skills in sustainability.
In 2012, Tyler joined St. Olaf College as a Sustainability Representative and CURI Researcher. During this time, they focused on sustainability projects and contributed to research efforts.
From 2009 to 2013, Tyler worked at The Lion's Pause, starting as a Kitchen Worker and then progressing to the role of Kitchen Manager. Tyler'sresponsibilities included overseeing kitchen operations and managing staff.
In 2012, Tyler also worked part-time as a Freelance Website Developer at Blue Cup Design. Tyler gained experience in web development and contributed to various design projects.
Tyler joined Epic in 2014, initially as a Quality Assurance professional before assuming the role of Quality Assurance Manager. Tyler played a crucial role in ensuring product quality and managing a team of testers.
From 2017 to 2018, Tyler worked as an Automation Test Engineer at Clean Energy Collective. Tyler focused on automating test processes and optimizing testing efficiency.
In 2018, Tyler joined Billtrust as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), then transitioned to the role of Senior SDET, and finally became a Senior Software Developer in 2021. Tyler contributed to software development and testing, leveraging their expertise in test automation and software quality assurance.
Most recently, Tyler has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at both Electriphi Inc and Ford Pro, starting in 2022.
Tyler Nielsen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, in December 2019, they obtained a certification in Fundamentals from Sumo Logic.
