Gianni Moretto

Gianni Moretto has over two decades of experience in research and development within the food service equipment industry, currently serving as the Head of R&D for Business Area Food Europe at Electrolux Professional since September 2011. Moretto has held various leadership roles, including GR&D-Warewashing Director and Senior Project Development Manager, where responsibilities included developing new products, managing project portfolios, and leading design teams. Previous positions include R&D Manager at Arper SPA and Plant Quality Manager at Electrolux Professional, with early career experience as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at SV IMPIANTI S.R.L. Educational qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Trieste, complemented by specialized training in project management and leadership development from Porsche Consulting and IMD.
