Sarah Schaefer

Sarah Schaefer is an experienced professional in sustainability and corporate citizenship, currently serving as Vice President of Sustainability for Electrolux in Europe and APAC&MEA since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sarah operated as an Independent Sustainability Consultant at SCHAEFER CONSULTANCY LIMITED from May 2019 to August 2021 and held the position of Global Policy and Advocacy Director at Unilever from May 2017 to May 2019. Sarah's career also includes significant experience at MARS CHOCOLATE LIMITED, where responsibilities included Global Sustainability Director and Global Corporate Sustainability Director from March 2010 to May 2017, focusing on corporate citizenship strategy and stakeholder outreach. Additionally, Sarah served as Special Adviser to David Miliband at DEFRA and the Foreign Office from July 2006 to March 2010, providing media relations and policy advice. Sarah holds an MPhil in European Politics and Society from St Antony's College, Oxford University, completing studies from 1993 to 1995.
