Atle Johan Bull Lund

Atle Johan Bull Lund has over 15 years of work experience in the geophysical industry. Atle Johan Bull started their career in 2005 as a Field Geophysicist at emgs, where they focused on quality control, software programming, and data processing. Atle Johan Bull then moved on to become a Senior Engineer, providing technical support and contributing to the development of new equipment.

In 2008, Atle joined Electromagnetic Geoservices Americas as an Operations Manager for North and South America. Here, they completed notable CSEM projects in Mexico and maintained successful collaborations with regulators in the US and Canada. Atle Johan Bull then transitioned to Fugro Electromagnetic Pty Ltd as an Operations Manager and accomplished significant milestones, including completing the first 3D multi-client survey in Asia and conducting the first CSEM projects in Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand.

At Electromagnetic Geoservives Asia Pacific, Atle continued their role as an Operations Manager and successfully completed the first CSEM survey in New Zealand and Mozambique. Atle Johan Bull also launched an efficiency project that increased acquisition gains by 5% without increasing costs.

Most recently, Atle has been working at Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA as the VP Global Operations. Atle Johan Bull served as the Business Unit President for the Asia Pacific region, where they achieved impressive results such as increasing company revenue by over 3 times in their first year and recording the highest 5-year revenue for the region. Atle Johan Bull also managed global operations and successfully ran CSEM projects on a global scale, with a focus on Asia and the Americas.

Throughout their career, Atle has consistently delivered projects on time and within budget, even in challenging market conditions. Atle Johan Bull has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, stakeholder management abilities, and a strong track record of driving business growth and operational efficiency.

Atle Johan Bull Lund obtained a Master's degree in Physics (Cand. Scient.) from the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1995 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics (Cand. Mag.) at the same institution, specializing in Physics, mathematics, and computer programming.

In addition to their formal education, Atle has also obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they achieved a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera. Atle Johan Bull also obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Global Energy Business from Coursera in June 2020.
