Albert Parra

Albert Parra has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Albert began their career in 1998 as Human Resource Generalist at the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso. In 2001, they moved to the Third Judicial District Court as Human Resource Manager. In 2007, they joined New Mexico State University as Associate Director, where they held three positions: Employment/Compensation Manager, Associate Director-Campus Health, and Associate Director-Aggiefit Program. In 2015, they joined ADP as Manager-Human Resource Services, where they were responsible for leading and inspiring their department in the human resource management profession, implementing initiatives and processes, and developing and administering corrective action and performance improvement plans. In 2018, they joined the New Mexico Department of Agriculture as Human Resources. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at Electronic Caregiver.

Albert Parra has a Management degree from New Mexico State University, where they studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Albert then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University, specializing in Human Resources Development. In 2015, they earned a SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.
