Marion Meunier

Senior Applications Scientist at Elegen

Marion Meunier began their work experience in 2013 as an Intern at the Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology (IBPC) in Paris, France. Marion then interned again in 2014 at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Marion joined the Salk Institute as a Laboratory Assistant in October 2014 and later became a Graduate Student in September 2016. Marion held these roles until March 2021. Marion then worked as a Lead Scientist - DNA Designer at Codex DNA from May 2021 to October 2022. Marion then transitioned to Illumina as a Technical Application Scientist from October 2022 to November 2022. Currently, Marion is employed as a Senior Applications Scientist at ELEGEN starting from February 2023.

Marion Meunier has a strong educational background in the field of biology. Marion obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Nantes Université in 2012. Following this, Marion pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University, completing their studies in 2014. Marion continued their academic journey at UC San Diego, where they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Marion successfully completed their PhD in 2021. Marion's education has provided their with a comprehensive understanding of the biological sciences, specifically focusing on molecular and cellular biology.
