Klaas-Jan Kooiker

Klaas-Jan Kooiker currently serves as the REU Brachy Solutions Delivery Team Lead and previously held the role of Brachytherapy Installation and Support Engineer at Elekta since April 2021. From September 2015 to March 2021, Kooiker worked as a Physiotherapist and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound specialist at Fysiotherapie en Echografie Zijlweg 5, focusing on enhancing healthcare quality through ultrasound technology. Earlier experience includes a physiotherapy role at FysioExpert / FysioVerton Haarlem and an internship, as well as serving as Abactis for the Groninger Studenten Rugby Club. Kooiker holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physiotherapy from Hanze University and a degree in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from Enraf-Nonius in collaboration with Sonoskills.
