Patrick Bünter

Patrick Bünter has a range of work experience in various finance and controlling roles. Patrick started their career at Danzas Management Ltd. as a Controller from July 2000 to October 2001. Patrick then moved on to Syngenta Agro Services, where they worked as a Controller Credit Risk & Trade Finance from November 2001 to August 2006. Patrick then joined Syngenta as a Controller Credit Risk & Treasury from July 2007 to September 2008. Patrick later transitioned to Syngenta Netherlands Chemicals SA, where they served as a Unit Controller from October 2008 to June 2011. Lastly, Patrick worked at Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich (EKZ) as a Senior Business Unit Controller from July 2011 to October 2013 and then as the Head of Strategy Controlling & Risk from November 2013 to present.

Patrick Bünter has a diverse education history. Patrick completed their Handelsdiplom at the Handelschule in 1998 and subsequently obtained a KV Diplom from KV Basel - Branchenneutral in the same year. In 2004 to 2006, they pursued and successfully obtained a Höheres Wirtschaftsdiplom VKS from HWS Basel. Patrick furthered their education in the field of controlling by completing a Dipl. Controller NDS HF from the Schweizerischer Institut für Betriebsökonomie in Zurich in 2007 to 2008. In order to specialize in the field of finance, they undertook a CA Controller Akademie München where they obtained a Controller Diplom from 2011 to 2012. Lastly, they pursued an Executive MBA - General Management, Master of Business Administration ZFH from Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich / Darden School, University of Virginia from 2013 to 2015.
