Raphael Knecht

Raphael Knecht has extensive experience in the solar energy sector, currently serving as Head of Solar Business and Project Manager of Solar PV Systems at EKZ since August 2019. Prior to this role, Raphael was a Research Assistant at ZHAW School of Engineering, where significant contributions included the development and optimization of innovative PV systems, design of a portable LED Module-Flasher, and integration of battery storage solutions. Earlier experience includes work as an All-rounder at Alsol AG, focusing on the installation and permitting of residential photovoltaic plants, and as a Trainee at Solarzentrum Ostschweiz, where Raphael undertook various renovation projects. Raphael holds a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Energy and Environmental Engineering from ZHAW School of Engineering.
