Mika Salmela is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and software development industries. Currently at Elektrobit since March 2018, Mika leads, architects, and develops automotive cryptography solutions. Previously, Mika worked at The Qt Company and Digia, contributing to the development of a 3D Data Visualization add-on for Qt Commercial. Earlier career highlights include roles at Nokia Mobile Phones, where Mika held various senior positions over nearly a decade, and VTT, serving as a Research Scientist. Mika began the professional journey at Acta Systems Oy as a Software Engineer, focusing on customer-specific features for an image storage system. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Software Production from the University of Oulu.
