Alex Stankiewicz

Alex Stankiewicz, Ph.D., currently serves as the Associate Director of Business Development & Alliance Management at Elektrofi, leading efforts in identifying and negotiating partnerships with biotech and major pharmaceutical companies. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Biogen as a Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy & Disease Area Portfolio Innovation, focusing on commercial due diligence for in-licensing and M&A opportunities. With extensive experience as a Senior Consultant at TRINITY, Alex supported biopharma clients in executing business development transactions across various therapeutic areas. Academic contributions include a postdoctoral research position at the University of Connecticut, investigating pathological aging and neurogenesis, along with co-founding ClockCoach Inc., a digital health company. Alex earned a Ph.D. in Anatomy and Neurobiology from Boston University School of Medicine, where research specialized in adult neurogenesis in relation to external factors like sleep and diet.
