Constantine Butakoff

Constantine Butakoff has held various roles in the technology industry since 1996. Constantine's first job was as a PC maintenance technician at InfoSphere, followed by a role as R+D at Neural Networks Technologies Ltd. in 1999. From 2003 to 2018, Butakoff worked at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher, Professor Lector, and PhD Student. During this time, they conducted research on 3D shape analysis, 3D shape representations, statistical shape analysis, statistical-shape-based segmentation, facial biometrics, and medical image analysis. In 2018, they moved to the Barcelona Supercomputing Center as a Postdoc. Most recently, Butakoff has been working as a Senior Scientific Developer at ELEM Biotech since 2020.

Constantine Butakoff earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Vision from Universidad de Zaragoza in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics from National Uzhgorod University in 1999.
