Jon Geater

Jon Geater currently serves as Co-Chair of the Supply Chain Integrity Transparency and Trust (SCITT) Working Group at IETF since November 2022. Jon is the Chief Product & Technology Officer and Co-Founder of DataTrails, a position held since January 2019, and has been a Board Advisor at Elemendar since December 2020, providing insights in cybersecurity. Additionally, Jon acts as an advisor for Crypto Quantique, which focuses on secure IoT solutions, and previously chaired the Security and Trustworthiness Working Group at the Digital Twin Consortium. Jon's extensive experience includes serving on the Governing Board of Hyperledger and as Chief Technology Officer at Thales e-Security, where Jon managed chip-to-cloud security integration. Jon has contributed to various industry organizations, including a leadership role at GlobalPlatform and as Chief Technology Officer at Trustonic. Jon holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Birmingham and completed high school at William Parker School.
