Caroline Obert

Caroline Obert is a highly experienced professional in the fields of genomics and molecular biology, currently serving as a Senior Staff Study Manager at Element Biosciences since June 2021, where responsibilities include setting up a high throughput library prep facility and authoring procedures for NGS library processing. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Translational Genomics at Epic Sciences, Principal Scientist at Invivoscribe, and various scientific positions at Illumina, where contributions ranged from managing teams and overseeing operational budgets to developing best practices for laboratory processes. Obert also held a scientist position at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, focusing on next generation sequencing and experimental design, and completed post-doctoral research on Streptococcus pneumoniae.
