Daniel Yarbrough

Daniel Yarbrough is a professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and biotechnology. Currently serving as the Director of Intellectual Property at Element Biosciences since July 2019, Daniel previously provided IP consultancy for early-stage biotechnology companies. With a legal background as an Associate at Knobbe Martens from September 2015 to September 2018 and experience as a Student Attorney at the University of Michigan Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, Daniel has advocated for clients in various capacities. Daniel's scientific expertise includes roles as a Scientist at C3 Jian, Inc. and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA, focusing on antimicrobial peptide design and biomineralization. Daniel holds a JD, Cum Laude from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Oregon, as well as a BA in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder.
