Keri Richardson Bevel has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Keri started their career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as an attorney, where they gained expertise in securities, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity fund formation and structuring. From 2005 to 2008, they also worked at Lehman Brothers as Vice President and Counsel. In 2009, they joined The Structure Group as an Interim Assistant General Counsel. Later that year, they joined Element Markets as Counsel/Senior Counsel and was eventually promoted to Senior Vice President and Counsel. Currently, Keri Richardson Bevel holds the position of Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Anew.
Keri Richardson Bevel earned their Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy-Information Systems from Auburn University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained bar admissions in Alabama, Texas, and New York.
