John Kang has over 20 years of professional experience in Quality and Regulatory roles across various industries. John began their career in 1998 as a Senior QA Compliance Specialist at Affymetrix Corp. John then moved to Boston Scientific in 1999, where they were a Quality Compliance Supervisor at Guidant Corporation. In 2001, they became the Clinical Quality Engineering Manager at Nektar Therapeutics. In 2006, they became the Post Market QA Manager at Hologic, Inc. (formerly Cytyc Surgical). In 2007, they became the Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at Cardiva Medical. In 2009, they became the Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at Invuity Inc. In 2011, they became the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Auris Health, Inc. (formerly Hansen Medical). In 2012, they became the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at Stryker. Finally, in 2018, they became the QA & RA Executive at MedTech QA & RA Consulting. In 2022, they were appointed as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Element Science, Inc.

John Kang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University and a Master of Science in Molecular & Genetic Engineering from the same institution.
