Viet Truong

Viet Truong has a long history of work experience in the operations and manufacturing fields. Starting in 1994, they were a Manufacturing Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineer at Cardiac Pathways. Viet then moved to Somnus Medical Technologies in 1997, where they held the role of Manufacturing Manager and Senior Manufacturing Engineer. In 1999, they became an Operations Manager for Catheter/Radio Frequency Generator Units at Smith & Nephew. In 2003, they took on the role of Senior Manufacturing Manager at Thoratec, where they were responsible for the operations activities for Class III medical device high volume circulatory equipment and implantable cardiovascular manufacturing. In 2013, they became an Operations/Manufacturing Project Manager at Clarity Medical Systems, Inc. and in 2014, they were a Manufacturing Manager at Plexus Corp. In 2016, they became Vice President of Operations at AccuVein Inc., and in 2021 they were Vice President Operations at Rebus Biosystems. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as Senior Director of Operations at Element Science, Inc.

Viet Truong completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SUNY Maritime College between 1990 and 1994. Viet then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix between 2007 and 2009.
