Branislav Dzepina

Branislav Dzepina has extensive experience in engineering and materials science, currently serving as Principal Application Engineer at Element Six since October 2018, leading the friction stir welding program. Previously held positions at Element Six include Senior Application Engineer, where responsibility included leading projects for key PCD mining and friction stir welding tools, and Application Engineer, providing technical advice for customers in the road and mining division. Branislav's earlier experience as a Senior Research Scientist involved developing oil and gas drilling tools, and as a Research Assistant focused on electrophoretic deposition. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and multiple Master's degrees in related fields from the University of Warwick and the University of the Witwatersrand, complemented by a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Johannesburg.
