Jaco de Klerk

Jaco de Klerk has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jaco started their career in 1993 at Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation, where they held various managerial and supervisory positions until 2007. Jaco then joined Tarmac as the General Manager for Al Dhahira and later became the Operations Manager in Oman. In 2011, they joined Evraz Highveld Steel and Vanadium as the Deputy COO, eventually becoming the Chief Operating Officer until 2014. Currently, they are the Head of CVD Operations at Element Six since October 2018.

Jaco de Klerk began their education at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Extractive Metallurgy. In 1998, they enrolled at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika for a Management Development Programme, where they were part of a dux study group. Later in 2010, they attended the University of Derby and earned a Certificate in International Quarry Operations as a dux student.
