Miguel Rangel Galvis

Miguel Rangel Galvis has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Miguel is currently serving as the Director General Construsistemas/CEO Building Systems at Elementia Materiales since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director Region Andina at Eternit Colombiana S.A and served as the CEO of Eternit Colombia from August 2018 to September 2022. Miguel also has experience as the CEO of Knauf Colombia, where they were responsible for the overall business P&L and introducing the Knauf brand in the Andean Region.

Before their role at Knauf, Miguel Rangel Galvis worked as the Managing Director/General Manager at Ceremica San Lorenzo (Etex Group). Miguel also gained valuable experience at Avery Dennison, where they held various roles such as Global Director of Sales Excellence, Sales & Marketing Director for Spanish Speaking South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, General Manager for the Andean Region, and Commercial Manager for the Andean Region, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Earlier in their career, they worked at 3M as a Group Manager for Industrial Markets and as a Marketing and Sales Manager for Traffic Control Materials and Safety & Security. Miguel also served as a Technical Service Supervisor at General Motors and a Sales Representative at Johnson & Johnson.

Miguel Rangel Galvis holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Finance from Universidad del Rosario, which they obtained from 1989 to 1994. Miguel also pursued further education at the University of St. Thomas, where they completed a Master of International Management degree from 1995 to 1996. Additionally, during the same period, Miguel Rangel Galvis obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
