Sloan Thompson

Sloan Thompson has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and cloud engineering. They started their career in 2012 as a DevOps Engineer at Elemica, where they worked closely with the Software Engineering Team to deliver highly available and redundant infrastructure for the company's next generation platform. During their time at Elemica, Sloan also served as a Team Lead, overseeing DevOps operations from July 2015 to August 2018. In 2018, Sloan joined Thesis as the Head of DevOps, where they held the position until 2020. They then returned to Elemica in 2020 as the Director of DevOps before transitioning to the role of Head of Cloud Engineering in October 2021. Sloan's expertise lies in expanding cloud presence, developing infrastructure automation, and maintaining next-generation systems.

Sloan Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University between 2011 and 2017.
