Piers Stockwell

Piers Stockwell has extensive work experience in IT infrastructure and security. Piers currently holds the position of Head of IT Infrastructure and Security at ELEMIS since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of IT & Technical Operations at Pure Electric Limited from October 2021 to March 2023. Piers also served as the Head of IT & Infrastructure at Pure Electric Limited from March 2019 to October 2021. Before joining Pure Electric Limited, they worked as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Level 3 Support at Signal Networks Limited from April 2017 to March 2019. Piers also worked as a Network Administrator at Rednock School from August 2016 to April 2017 and as an IT Lead/Teacher at St Ursula's E-ACT Academy from January 2016 to May 2016. Piers'searlier experience includes working as a Digital Learning Leader/Teacher at GEMS Education from August 2013 to July 2015. During their roles, Piers has developed IT policies and strategies, implemented infrastructure, and ensured alignment of technological resources with business needs. Piers has expertise in server administration, active directory management, group policy management, and technical support for hardware and peripherals.

Piers Stockwell obtained a Bsc in Psychological Sciences from the University of Westminster, where they studied Psychology with physiology from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Marlborough College from 1989 to 1994 and completed their A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. In 2012-2013, they attended Bath Spa University and earned a PGCE in Primary Education. In terms of additional certifications, Piers became a Google Certified Teacher in August 2014, obtained the LEC Digital Educator certification from Leading Edge Certification in March 2014, and became a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) through CWNP in January 2019.
