Heleen Zuidweg - van der Pligt

Heleen Zuidweg - Van der Pligt has extensive experience in social educational care, particularly in residential and ambulatory support for individuals facing various challenges. Since August 2012, Heleen has served as a Woonbegeleider at Eleos, providing guidance in both sheltered and supported living environments. Responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and intervening in crises to ensure the well-being of clients. Prior to this role, Heleen was an ambulant woonbegeleider, delivering tailored support in clients' homes. Additionally, Heleen worked as a Preventiewerker, leading a summer course aimed at boosting the confidence and social skills of children transitioning to secondary education. Previous experience also includes working as a groepsbegeleidster/behandelaar for youth aged 14 to 18 at Eleos from 2008 to 2011. Heleen holds a Bachelor of Social Educational Care from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede and an MBO in Social Pedagogical Work from Hoornbeeck College.
