Taka Awori

Taka Awori has held a variety of roles since 2006, beginning with a Recruitment Consultant at Reed in Partnership. In 2007, they became the Community Regeneration Manager at Mace Sustain. In 2012, they were appointed Removals and Relocations General Manager & MICT at Urgent Cargo Handling LTD / Mombasa Island Cargo Terminal. In 2018, they took on the role of Regional General Manager at City Clock Group and Group Head of Business Development at DPO Group. Most recently, in 2020, they became Head of Commercial and Business Development - Kenya at Elephant Healthcare, where they are responsible for overseeing business development activities in Kenya, developing stakeholder relationships, and designing business models and products.

Taka Awori obtained a PGCE 7407 from the University of East London in 2008, after studying Education from 2005-2008. Taka later received a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Africa Nazarene University in 2018, having studied Mass Communication/Media Studies from 2014-2018.
