Lorenzo Consolini

Lorenzo Consolini has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical systems and engineering. Lorenzo began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at ELT, where they managed and supervised projects from proposal to development and qualification. Lorenzo then joined Elettronica SpA as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Research & Innovation department, leading system-level projects for military and dual-use applications. At Elettronica Group, they held various roles including System Engineer, where they coordinated the development of a ground-based mobile system, and Head of Mechanical Systems and Platform Sourcing, where they managed the procurement process for mechanical systems and platforms. Prior to their time at Elettronica, they worked as a Consultant at Altran Italia S.p.A. Overall, Lorenzo has a diverse range of experience in mechanical engineering and project management.

Lorenzo Consolini holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Dottore in Ingegneria Meccanica degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
