Zakari Fatima has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Zakari started their career as an intern at Abbott Laboratories Executive in 2010. Zakari then joined Abbott in 2011 as a Research Assistant and later transitioned to become a Project Manager in the IT Networking team. In this role, they managed clinical IT projects, adhered to compliance regulations, gathered requirements, and led international groups to complete projects. Zakari continued their project management career at Abbott as a Project Manager in R&D IT, where they focused on managing clinical IT projects and delivering them on time and within scope.

In 2016, Zakari joined Receptos, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Celgene, as a Project Manager in the Sales IT department. Here, they project managed large cross-functional projects, evaluated new projects, and delivered effective training sessions for field sales and division managers.

Most recently, Zakari worked at ELEVAI Labs Inc. as a Senior Director of Medical Affairs Operations. Here, they led the Medical Affairs Global Operations team and was responsible for empowering Medical Affairs with tools, technology, and analytics. Zakari worked on delivering a multi-year technology solution roadmap in partnership with other departments and achieved cost and resource savings.

Throughout their career, Zakari has demonstrated strong project management skills, compliance adherence, and the ability to lead international teams.

Zakari Fatima pursued their education chronologically, beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Saint Louis University. Zakari attended this institution from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Memphis, focusing their studies on the field of Business Administration. Zakari completed their MBA program from 2010 to 2012.
