Cheryl Tucker

Cheryl Tucker, CPA, MBA, is a seasoned accounting and financial strategist with 38 years of professional experience. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Accountant at Elevance Health in the Government Business Division focused on Medicare, Cheryl has also held various advisory and consulting roles, including QuickBooks Pro Advisor for Virginia SBDC and Business Advisor for Roanoke Regional SBDC, supporting small and minority businesses. Past entrepreneurial ventures include founding and operating the first AVEDA Lifestyle Salon Spa in western Virginia and improving fundraising efforts for local humane societies. Cheryl's early career included positions at notable firms such as Pfizer, Elizabeth Arden, and KPMG US, where Cheryl developed expertise in financial management and training. Cheryl holds an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech.
