Elena Newman

Elena Newman, ACMA, CGMA, currently serves as the Florida Medicare President at Elevance Health, a position held since July 2015, where responsibilities include driving the vision and strategy for Anthem's digital member platforms and overseeing key operational initiatives. With a background in finance, Elena has held various leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer for Medicare Florida and Regional Vice President of Finance/CFO for the East Region at Anthem, managing significant financial operations across multiple markets. Prior experience includes senior positions at Univita Health Inc and All-Med Services of Florida, and financial consulting roles at Merrill Lynch and Adidas Group. Elena holds a Master of Finance in Financial Management from Moscow Finance and Law Academy and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from Smolensk State University.
