Jennifer Mayes-Laracuente

Jennifer Mayes-Laracuente is an experienced professional in healthcare program integrity and fraud prevention, currently serving as a Senior Investigator at Elevance Health since April 2022. Previously, Jennifer held a similar role at Aetna, where efforts focused on preventing fraud, waste, and abuse within the Medicaid Program. Jennifer's career includes oversight of recovery functions as an Administrative Branch Manager for Kentucky Medicaid, and roles in the Kentucky Medicaid Program Integrity Unit, processing recoupment functions related to fraud. Additionally, Jennifer has contributed as an Internal Policy Analyst at the CHFS Office of Inspector General, developing policies and software for background checks, and has prior experience with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services in family support operations. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Leadership and Ministry from Asbury University and an Associate of Arts from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
