Safia Ziani

Safia Ziani is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Head of Consulting and Strategy at Elevance Health since February 2024. Prior to this role, Ziani held multiple positions at McKinsey & Company from September 2018 to February 2024, advancing from Associate to Associate Partner, while also working as an Engagement Manager and Associate. Ziani's earlier experience includes roles at McMaster-Carr as a Software Development Project Manager, Business Systems Project Manager, and Software Developer from August 2012 to June 2018. Ziani began a career in education with Teach For America as a Corps Member and later as a Corps Member Advisor, where strong leadership and coaching skills were further developed while supporting 12 Corps Members. Ziani holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, completed a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Urban Education, Policy, and Administration from Loyola Marymount University, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Economics from the University of Michigan.
