Chris Monteith

Chris Monteith is a seasoned professional in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Definition at Elevate Aircraft Seating since August 2025. Previously, Chris held several key roles at Adient Aerospace from August 2019 to August 2025, including Senior Director of Program Management, Portfolio Manager, and Senior Program Manager, contributing significantly to bespoke Business Class aircraft seat development in collaboration with airline customers and OEMs. Prior experience includes Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Thompson Aero Seating Limited, as well as an Electrical Design Engineer role. Chris began a career at Caterpillar Inc. as a Design Engineer, focusing on electrical systems for diesel generator sets, and started in the industry as a Test and Repair Technician at Elite Electronic Systems Ltd. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Diploma in Industrial Studies with Commendation from Ulster University.
