Maria Palumbo has over 17 years of nursing and healthcare management experience. Currently serving as the Lead Admissions Nurse at Elevate Care since April 2022, Maria is responsible for overseeing the centralized admission process. Prior to this role, Maria held multiple positions at Warren Barr South Loop from March 2016 to April 2022, including Director of Medical Records, Clinical EMR/PCC Specialist, and Nurse Manager. At Midamerica Care Center from April 2008 to October 2015, Maria functioned as the Charge Nurse on a 62-bed dementia-focused floor. Early in the career, Maria worked as a Nurse at Mount Sinai Health System from January 2006 to July 2008.
