Karen Sinette has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Karen began their career in 1997 as a Staffing & Service Coordinator at Kelly Services, where they were responsible for recruiting and evaluating applicants for temporary assignments. Karen then moved on to Tufco, where they worked as a Corporate Human Resource Coordinator/Manager for ten years, handling various HR functions such as recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations, and labor law compliance. Karen then joined Nice-Pak Products, Inc. as a Human Resource Administrator, where they managed all HR activities including recruitment, new hire orientation, compensation, employee relations, and benefit administration. After that, they joined Bay Industries Inc as a Human Resource Business Partner, providing support to multiple locations and assisting in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Finally, Karen joined Elevate97 as the Director of People Experience, where they had overall responsibility for employee experience and strategy, including employee relations, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.

Karen Sinette has a diverse education history. In 2022-2023, they attended St. Norbert College, focusing on the Center for Exceptional Leadership. Prior to that, in 2010-2011, they studied Human Resources Development at Concordia University-Wisconsin. Karen also completed a Human Resource Management Certificate at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Before their higher education, Karen graduated from Green Bay West High School.

In terms of certifications, Karen holds various credentials. Karen obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in April 2015. Additionally, they are a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and obtained this certification in January 2015. Furthermore, Karen completed the "Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience" course through LinkedIn in June 2020.
