Artemis Seaford

Artemis Seaford is a distinguished professional in AI safety and public policy, currently serving as Vice President of AI Safety at ElevenLabs and a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Previously, Artemis held key positions at OpenAI, including Policy Development and Product Policy Manager, where responsibilities included the development of OAI Usage Policies and engagement with various stakeholders on AI safety. Artemis has also contributed to Meta as a Public Policy Manager, addressing geopolitical threats to the platform. An academic background includes a PhD in Political Science from Stanford University and a JD from Stanford Law School, complemented by experience as a Teaching Fellow in political philosophy. Additional roles include Executive Director at Ascend Collaborative, Advisor at The Refugee Hub, and a Fellow at the Open Society Foundations.
