Justin Andrews

Justin Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Justin started their career as a Market and Business Consultant at National Grid from November 1992 to March 1996. Justin then went on to establish their own company, Andrews Consulting Ltd, in April 1996, where they served as Director until December 2007. Justin joined ELEXON in January 2008, where they held various roles such as Senior Market Advisor, Head of Market Design, and eventually became the Head of Design Authority in July 2015. In this role, they led a team responsible for the design, assessment, and assurance of the wholesale market design in the BSC.

Justin Andrews received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with German from the University of Nottingham in 1989. Justin then continued their education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with German in 1992.
