Rachel O'Dwyer

Rachel O'Dwyer has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Rachel worked as the Head of Product and Operations - Trading and Optimisation Services at Elgin Energy, where they were responsible for expanding the company's trading platform. Prior to that, they served as a Managing Consultant at capSpire from 2019 to 2022. Rachel also worked as a Trading Delivery Analyst at Brookfield Renewable and as a Business Analyst at Aughinish Alumina Ltd in 2017. Previously, they held positions as an Energy Trading Manager and Energy Trader at Arrow Energy. Rachel began their career as an Energy Trader at ERM Power and worked as an Estimator at Fusion Building Systems.

Rachel O'Dwyer completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil with a focus on Infrastructure and Environmental studies from University College Cork, where they attended from 2002 to 2007. Rachel then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Energy Studies in Energy and Carbon from The University of Queensland, where they were enrolled from 2012 to 2014.
