Rick Snuffer

Rick Snuffer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rick began their career as the Vice-President of Sales/Project Manager at WESco Homes, Inc., where they gained experience in residential and light commercial construction. In 2005, they founded their own company, Rick Snuffer Construction LLC, where they served as the Managing Member.

In 2010, Rick entered the political field and served as a Delegate in the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 27th Delegate District. During their time in office, they served on various committees, including Government Organization, Small Business, Industry, and Labor, Roads and Transportation, and Seniors' Committees.

Rick also ran for the position of Republican Nominee in the WV-03 Congressional District in 2004 and 2012 and was recognized as an NRCC Young Gun in 2012. Rick has also served as an Electrical Consultant Trainee at ELGIN POWER SOLUTIONS and as a Career Technical Education Instructor at the Academy of Careers and Technology. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Safety - Facilities & Building Operations at ELGIN POWER SOLUTIONS.

Rick Snuffer obtained a National Board Certified Teacher degree specializing in Design, Engineering, and Fabrication from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the years 2020-2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Adult Career and Technical Education from Marshall University between 2016 and 2019. Rick's earlier education includes studying Business/Construction Management at Bluefield State University, although the dates of their enrollment are unknown.
