Aktham Aburub

Aktham Aburub possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various leadership positions at Eli Lilly and Company from January 2017 to January 2022, including Vice President of Research in Synthetic Molecule Design and Development. Previous roles at Eli Lilly included Senior Research Fellow, Research Fellow, and Senior Research Advisor. Aburub began a career in pharmaceuticals as an Associate Pharmacist at Hikma Pharmaceuticals from January 1998 to January 1999 and later served as a Research Assistant at University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals from January 2000 to January 2004. Academically, Aburub earned a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Iowa in May 2004, following a BSc in Pharmacy from Jami'at Al-Ulum wa Al-Tiknolojia Al-Urdunia in May 1998.
