Daneen Angwin-Kaerner

Daneen Angwin-Kaerner is an experienced scientific leader currently serving as a Senior Scientific Lead in BioNMR and Bioassay at Eli Lilly and Company since January 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, notable roles include Principal Scientist in Biomolecular NMR at Loxo Oncology at Lilly, where Daneen led the Biomolecular NMR efforts for drug discovery. Participation in the SMASH NMR Organization includes roles such as North American Logistics Officer and Secretary of the Executive Board. Previous experience at Eli Lilly encompasses positions from Associate Senior Consultant Engineer to Consultant Chemist. Daneen's earlier tenure includes work at Pfizer and Upjohn/P&U/Pharmacia. Academic backgrounds include a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Loyola Marymount University. Additionally, experiences in competitive climbing as a certified judge and coordinator demonstrate a commitment to extracurricular leadership.
