Eileen McCarthy

Eileen McCarthy is a Senior Principal Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, currently based in Cork, Ireland. They previously served as Associate Director of Technology Transfer at MSD and held multiple roles in production and quality assurance at various organizations, including Arthropharm Pty Ltd and Sylvan Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd. Eileen earned a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Biotechnology, both with First Class Honours, from University College Cork, and completed a short course in Cellular Bioprocess Technology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Their career also includes experience as a Junior Cell Culture Scientist at Pfizer Biotechnology Ireland and as a Process Scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.
