Katie Berth

Katie Berth is a seasoned professional in tech transfer and process engineering within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Eli Lilly and Company since October 2025, Katie previously held the position of Director of Tech Transfer and Process Engineering at Verve Therapeutics from August 2022 to September 2025, where Katie led the transfer of processes for mRNA and gene editing therapies to external manufacturing partners. Katie's earlier experience includes significant roles at Catalent Pharma Solutions and Verve Therapeutics, focusing on scale-up, vendor collaborations, and process optimization for mRNA manufacturing. Katie began her career with technical internships at Sandia National Laboratories and Harvard University, culminating in a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of New Mexico.
