Ronan Kelly

Ronan Kelly has extensive experience in bioprocess development, specifically in protein expression and purification. At Eli Lilly and Company from July 2011 to December 2024, Ronan held various senior roles, including Senior Director of Upstream Process Development and Senior Director of Protein Expression and Purification in Biotechnology Discovery Research, as well as serving as Director of Protein Expression and Purification and PostDoctoral Researcher in BR&D. Prior to this, Ronan worked as a Senior PostDoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Bioprocessing Research and Training from May 2008 to April 2011. Educationally, Ronan earned a Ph.D. in Protein Engineering from the University of Groningen between January 2004 and January 2009 and holds two BSc degrees in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin, obtained from January 1998 to January 2002.
