Wei Zhu

Wei Zhu is an experienced IP attorney currently serving as the Associate Vice President and Assistant General Patent Counsel for AI at Eli Lilly and Company. With a strong background in bioinformatics and machine learning, Wei's previous roles include Senior Counsel for Intellectual Property and Litigation at Amgen and Counsel at GRAIL, Inc. Wei earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Washington University in St. Louis and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they also completed a Master’s in Statistics. Prior to their current position, Wei worked in various law firms, engineering roles, and as a research assistant.
