Giuseppe Vallarelli's work experience begins in 2011 as a Software Developer at GEM Foundation, where they developed prototypes and contributed to the openquake engine. Giuseppe also learned about sound software engineering practices and worked with a diverse team.
In 2013, Vallarelli joined Red Hat as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the vdsm project and developed features requested by customers. Giuseppe also rewrote a non-open source test suite and advocated for sound engineering practices within the team.
In 2014, Vallarelli worked at SIAV as a Full Stack Software Developer, specifically with Epress S.p.a.
From 2016 to 2018, Vallarelli played roles at Euclidea as a Senior Software Engineer and Cloud Devops Engineer. Giuseppe developed the digital signature for Euclidea contracts and integrated third-party APIs. Giuseppe also developed microservices using AWS Lambda.
Currently, Vallarelli is the Chief Technology Officer at ELI WMS, where they lead a team in providing ELI WMS as a service to customers. Giuseppe manages developers, oversees product design and system architecture, and ensures data synchronization with ERP systems.
Giuseppe Vallarelli has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Bari. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In March 2019, they achieved the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. Furthermore, in December 2021, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance. Finally, in May 2023, they became a Neo4j Certified Professional from Neo4j.
