Geert Versnick

Geert Versnick is the Vice Chairman at Elia Group. Geert has also served as a Gemeenteraadslid at Stad Gent, a gedeputeerde at Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen, and a Federaal Volksvertegenwoordiger at Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers. In addition, they have been the Voorzitter and Secretaris-Generaal at V.L.D Gent, and a juridisch adviseur at kabinets of de heer Guy verhofstadt and de heer Frans Grootjans.

Geert Versnick has a licentiaat in rechten from the Universiteit van Gent. Geert also has a certificate in Board Effectiveness from Guberna and has completed the High Performance Board program at IMD.
