Yannick Droessaert

Yannick Droessaert is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in systems engineering and team management. Currently serving as a Team Coach Senior System Engineer at Elia since July 2022, Yannick leads a team responsible for Windows, VMware, NetApp, and Hardware Infrastructure operations. Since February 2011, Yannick has also been managing YD-IT, a business focused on small KMO network setups. Prior roles at Elia include various engineering positions where responsibilities encompassed server management, Active Directory, backup engineering, and helpdesk support. Earlier experience includes administrative support in IT at Politiezone K-L-M, and foundational education in IT and related fields from institutions such as CVO Centrum Aalst and V.T.I. - AALST.
